The spectrum of potential applications in this context is especially broad. It ranges from evacuating load-lock chambers to loading and unloading components, e.g. in coating or electron-beam welding systems. The options include recovering rolling, compressor and transformer oils right through to evacuating particle accelerators and large-scale medical equipment.
 

Further aspects consist of vacuum generation for simulation chambers and emptying industrial gas cylinders prior to refilling, as well as evacuating bottles to enable foam-free filling in the bottling industry. An additional option is decarbonizing drinking water. Moreover, vacuum also enables halogen, xenon and incandescent lamps, as well as x-ray, fluorescent and cathode ray tubes, to be conditioned and evacuated.
